Related Report: Tampa Bay Buccaneers will 'strongly consider' Johnny Manziel With the Rams holding both the No. 2 more information and No. 13 overall picks in Thursdays first round of the NFL draft, each player could be available at either spot. But following the workout it appears St. Louis is most impressed with one former Aggie in particular. The Rams really like Johnny Manziel, and if he were there at 13 (which is unlikely), they would consider free Max Workouts picking him, Peter King of Sports Illustrated wrote in his Monday Morning Quarterback blog post. His workout for the Rams on Fridayin Texas, with offensive coordinator Brian Schottenheimer running the show, was impressive, as was the 80-minute post-workout session in the meeting room with Schottenheimer and coach Jeff Fisher, among others. King confirmed that the Rams are doing their due diligence in regards to Manziel, even traveling to meet with his former offensive coordinator.
